A procession went from Ankeny all the way to Clinton today to bring a fallen firefighter home.
33-year-old Eric Housette was killed in an explosion and fire Saturday at the ADM grain processing plant near Clinton.
His body left the State Medical Examiner's office in Ankeny around 1pm down Interstate 80 to Clinton.
The Clinton Fire Chief took to Facebook Sunday urging residents there to line the final streets of the procession in honor of the dead firefighter.
Injured in the grain fire was 23 year old Adam Cain. He is in an Iowa City hospital with serious injuries.
