NORTH PLATTE, Neb. - A new Miss Nebraska is crowned.
Twenty-four-year-old Omaha native Allie Swanson was named Miss Nebraska 2019 Saturday night at North Platte High School.
Swanson will receive $12 thousand in scholarships and more than $25 thousand in prizes. She will compete in the Miss America Pageant later this year.
News 6 reports the first runner-up was 22-year-old Allison Baird and the second runner up was 20-year-old Hayden Richardson.
