Major League Baseball has officially canceled the 2020 Minor League Baseball season.
As a result, the Cedar Rapids Kernels won't have a 2020 season.
In a statement, Kernels General Manager Scott Wilson said "We are disappointed with the cancellation of the entire 2020 Minor League season by Minor League Baseball...Kernels baseball will return in 2021 and we look forward to seeing all our fans next season.”
Those who have purchased single-game tickets will be issued refunds through the Kernels Ticket Office.
