(Des Moines, IA) -- A man in Des Moines is in a hospital with serious injuries after he was hit by a car on the southeast end of the city. The 41-year-old was crossing the street Thursday night on SE 14th Street and Kenyon Avenue when a speeding car hit him. The driver reportedly sped off. Police say the car was a dark colored Chrysler 300 and it had been weaving in an out of traffic. No arrests have been made.
