(Marion Co., IA) -- The body of a man missing for a week has now been found. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is saying the remains of 34-year-old Dustin Dittmer of Colfax were found Saturday morning in the Des Moines River. Dittmer had been missing since his boat capsized last weekend. He was last seen near the Bennington Boat Ramp close to the town of Swan, his body was found upriver from that location according to the Sheriff’s Department. His body has been taken to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Ankeny to determine an official cause of death.
