(Davenport, IA) -- A former John Deere worker is suing his employer saying he was wrongfully fired due to safety concerns.

Daniel White filed the suit in December after going to an electric battery module manufacturer mostly owned by Deere in Austria.

According to White, he brought safety concerns about the batteries and proposed testing to Deere superiors, but was terminated in late October.

John Deere denies the allegations made by White.
