Her office says Omaha Mayor Jean Stothert will introduce her choice to be the next Fire Chief late this morning.
That person will replace Dan Olsen, who retires on March 24th completing thirty years of service in the Omaha Fire Department.
The Mayor appointed Olsen as Chief in 2016.
The Mayor has said the appointment of a new Chief would be made from within OFD.
