(Des Moines, IA) -- Mercy College of Health Sciences will break ground later this month on a multi-million nursing building.

The college says the new facility will include modern simulations and clinical training environments where students will receive hands-on training. There will be a groundbreaking ceremony at the site of the future Joyce E. Lillis School of Nursing on Friday, April 24th at 8:30am. $15 million in funding comes from the Legacy of Faith Campaign. The college says the new building will help the school address the state's nursing workforce needs.

More information on the groundbreaking ceremony is available on the Mercy College of Health Sciences website.
