(West Des Moines, IA) -- Court documents released Thursday provide new information about the woman charged in the murder of a West Des Moines realtor in 2011.
Dallas County prosecutors say a witness in a neighboring townhome sharing a wall with the crime scene heard gunshots.
Minutes later, the witness reported that Kristin Ramsey was at the door of the townhome, where Ashley Okland was later found shot to death.
The witness also said they saw Ramsey pacing near a vehicle, making a phone call, and then driving away erratically. Police later determined that the call was not to 911, but to her employer.
Concerned, the witness went inside the townhome, discovered Okland, and called 911.
The 27-year-old had been shot twice at close range.
Ramsey is a 53-year old married mother, who was arrested last month is being held on 2 million dollars bond.
She has asked for a bond reduction is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
