(Des Moines, IA) -- A suspect is in custody and charged with first-degree murder following a deadly shooting Friday morning in Des Moines.
Des Moines Police say the investigation into the shooting identified 46 year-old Sharneeka Evans as the suspected shooter. Police were able to locate Evans and take her into custody. She's charged with first-degree murder in the death of 36 year-old Ashley Marie Hall. Police say both Evans and Hall were guests inside the apartment where the shooting took place.
The shooting remains under investigation, and police say more details will be released when they become available.
