(Iowa) -- The National Weather Service has confirmed six tornadoes touched down across Iowa following Thursday’s severe storms.
An EF‑1 tornado in Decatur County was on the ground for approximately four minutes, with peak winds reaching 90 miles per hour. Another EF‑1 tornado near Little Sioux remained on the ground for nearly 10 minutes and produced winds of up to 105 miles per hour.
