Polk County to Test Outdoor Warning Sirens Saturday at Noon

(Polk County, IA) -- Outdoor Warning Sirens will sound throughout Polk County Saturday, May 2nd, as part of a scheduled test.

As of April of this year, Polk County tests its outdoor warning sirens at noon on the first Saturday of each month, weather permitting. Polk County Emergency Management says warning siren test will last roughly 3 to 5 minutes.
