(Des Moines, IA) -- A Des Moines man is facing charges after a fatal hit-and-run crash this weekend.
Police responded to reports of an injured person on East Railroad Avenue and found a woman dead in the roadway.
Investigators say she was struck by a vehicle, and the driver left the scene without reporting the crash or attempting to help.
About 12 hours later, officers located the suspected vehicle at an apartment complex on King Avenue.
28-year-old Ludvin Sarceno is facing multiple charges, including leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death.
