(Des Moines, IA) -- The woman killed in a hit-and-run crash last weekend in Des Moines has been identified.
Police say 61-year-old Kathleen Peterson died after she was struck by a vehicle on East Railroad Avenue early Sunday morning.
The driver, identified as 28-year-old Ludvin Sarceno, left the scene without reporting the crash or attempting to help.
Sarceno is now facing multiple charges, including leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death.
