(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- A man connected to the murder of Melody Hoffman has been arrested again after failing to return to a work release facility.

Logan Kimpton signed out of the Larry Nelson Residential Center on Friday but did not return as required.

Kimpton previously entered an Alford plea to conspiracy to commit a forcible felony in connection with Hoffman’s 2024 murder.

Under that agreement, he received three years of probation and could face up to ten years in prison if he violates the terms.
