I had a conversation with former Ambassador Nikki Haley as she campaigned across Iowa for the Republican Presidential nomination that dealt with some of the hot topics of the day. I noted that Haley had recently spoken to a meeting of Iowa evangelicals and took a position on abortion that she knew was bound to upset some in the room. Here's her explanation:
