The President will be 74 on Inauguration Day 2021. The two leading contenders for the Democrats - Senator Bernie Sanders and Vice President Joe Biden - will be 79 and 78 respectively.
We all know that the office ages whoever holds it at a faster rate than the rest of us - at least it appears so.
The Democrats do have much younger candidates like Tulsi Gabbard and Pete Buttigieg who are both 37, Julian Castro 44, Robert Francis O'Rourke 46 and Cory Booker who is 49.
So does age matter in a President?
