Our do nothing Congress has STILL not done anything regarding easing the pressure on Americans who are not allowed to work, but somehow have to figure out how to eat!
Speaker Nancy Pelosi DID announce that a bill to federally legalize marijuana will hit the House floor today, but still nothing to help Americans.
Yesterday during her Rona Press Conference, Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds said it was up to Congress to provide relief, saying “unfortunately, there's just not enough state funding to make everybody whole.”
Also yesterday, a bipartisan group of lawmakers did unveil a $908 Billion. That proposal would give aid to state and local governments, small businesses and the unemployed. It would not send out checks to everyone.
