They have agreed to a one on one meeting with the intent of getting a deal on raising the debt ceiling.
President Biden says he has offered a $1 Trillion dollar spending cut and that Speaker McCarthy has to compromise. What is not clear is if Biden has offered a cut in the increase or a real cut.
