A Dem Congressman wants us to believe that on the more than 20 occasions that President Joe Biden was on speaker phone during his son Hunter's business calls, the topic of conversation was "the weather or whatever".
After yesterday's behind closed doors testimony from Hunter's former business partner, Devon Archer, during which he testified that then Vice President Biden was on speaker phone during meetings at least 20 times, Manhattan and Brooklyn Rep. Daniel Goldman (D) confirmed some things.
A member of the House Oversight Committee and the lead attorney for Democrats’ bid to impeach President Donald Trump in 2019, Goldman said the former Burisma Holdings board member had recalled “approximately 20 occasions” on which Hunter would ask his dad to say “hello” during business meetings.
Why?
“The witness was unequivocal and stated very clearly that they never discussed any business on [those] phone conversations,” Goldman insisted. “There were niceties. And there was a hello. And [they] talked about the weather or whatever it was, but it was never any business.”
